The Warren Golf & Country Club – Dress Code
All golfers are expected to look smart and presentable on the course and in the clubhouse at all times.
We thank members and visitors for adhering to this dress code.
On The Course
MEN
Shirts must have a collar and sleeves, or be of a recognisable golf design.
Tailored trousers.
Above knee length tailored shorts.
Socks and golf shoes.
WOMEN
Golf dresses or sleeveless shirts with a collar, or be of a recognisable golf design.
Tailored trousers.
Tailored golf shorts and skorts only.
Socks and golf shoes.
Acceptable
- Golfing trousers which are tailored or chino in style
- Shirts with collars, or collarless/crewneck only when from a recognised golf manufacturer
- Shorts which are tailored and above the knee in length.
Unacceptable
- Denims or track-suit bottoms
- Non-tailored shorts
- ¾ length trousers for Gentlemen
- Large pocket cargo shorts or trousers
- Rugby or football style jerseys
- Trousers tucked into socks
- Trainers or other non-golfing footwear.
- Cargo, tennis, athletic wear or cutoffs including denim.
In The Clubhouse
We operate a relaxed dress code throughout the clubhouse with the following conditions.
- Jeans may be worn but should not be ripped
- No studded or spiked footwear is allowed anywhere in the clubhouse except in the locker rooms and Freddie’s
- Golfing waterproofs and footwear are not permitted in the lounge, bar or dining room.
